Suave -- sophisticated -- a man of the world. That's what James Bond and Bentley have in common. Part Great Dane, part American Staffie, Bentley's versatility will astound you. Passionate and adventurous, he has a way with the ladies, yet he also knows how to relax and enjoy the finer things in life -- like steak for breakfast. Bentley would like nothing more than a human to walk beside, because he likes to be around people so much, but he isn't clingy like some dogs. Get ready for lots of attention though -- he's a REAL head turner! Bentley was brought to our shelter in February of 2008, along with Jetta and her very young pups. Jetta and her babies were rescued, but Bentley is still with us. He's about 3-4 years old. Bentley -- now neutered -- runs in the field with Daisy (a Boxer/Pit mix - http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11320602) and we feel certain he would do well with most female dogs, but he likes being the only man around
-- again, just like James Bond.

Please know that the Grayson County Humane Society/SPCA in Leitchfield, Kentucky has TRULY run out of space and time for the 60+ dogs and puppies that are now there. Every kennel is full, so needless to say, there is NO more space in the shelter for any new arrivals. While they strive to be a no-kill shelter, it just isn't always possible. Owner turn-ins that aren't vetted will now likely face immediate euthanization. Next will be stray dogs that have passed their stray hold.

Please - if you can rescue or adopt just one dog or puppy, perhaps one more will live another day at Grayson. Thank you for ANY help that you can provide.
