Villa did nothing wrong and is on deathrow.
Look at the others too who can go on transport. Please Help. 80 cats were killed in the last 2 weeks.

Tux and Max are only about FIVE weeks old and already sitting in a cold prison cell without mommy and only each other to keep warm. While Max was clinging to the cage door, Tux seemed to want to show himself from his best side. Both of these babies are just heart breakers...

"Villa is stuck in a jail cell at animal control because his daddy was arrested. Isn't it ironic that he's also paying for what his daddy did?! Villa is TOTALLY AMAZING! He is a very hefty boy with a huge head, you truly have to see that head to believe it. When I first came in he was hiding in his litter box, trying to make himself small but then "curiosity got the cat" so to speak. He came to the front of the cage and watched me take pictures. When I opened his cage door, he was nothing but LOOOOVE LOOOOVE LOOOOVE. He loved to be scratched and patted and rubbed on. I held him and he was just the sweetest boy. UGH, PLEASE someone save this wonderful, velvety soft, Pit Bull of a cat! "

Ella is a very beautiful medium haired Tabby. Her eyes are so large and so full of emotion. She is extremely loving and seems to be a pure lap kitty. Her whiskers are very long and thick which is unusual for her otherwise petite body. She will shed due to her longer coat but oh so worth it having a few hairs here and there when you have such a beauty in your home. She is good with other cats, too; kept nuzzling the boy next door to her. :-)

Herbie broke my heart... You may not see it very well on the pictures, but he's definitely NOT had a good life... He is so very thin and has ouchies on his nose. He looks like he's lost all hope. When I picked him up and brought him out of his steel jail he looked surprised, like he couldn't believe his good fortune. THAT is what made me so sad. Cats are usually pretty resilient but this boy is off pretty bad, like he does not think that there is anyone who is going to love him out there...

Dexter, as you can see on 2 of his pictures, is perfect with dogs. He even nuzzled my dog Rusty right on the nose - see picture. LOL He is still young so he is more curious than he is snuggly but I believe that he would get snugglier with time. He let me carry him around and did enjoy my scratching him and petting him but had his eyes on everything at the same time. Very cute little guy, I have to say. :-)

7/22/11 Update- Safe. Still Needs Rescue or Home

Gorgeous Momma with all of her tiny little newborns... She is tabby with orange undertones and such a good care taker of her babies. Nobody rescues cats out of this place. This entire little family could be lying in a freezer within the next few days...

The pictures of this kitty are of a hefty adult I named Tippie. The reason for the name is as you see in the first picture. Whoever owned her actually put rubber tips over her claws. It is clear to see that someone loved her; they probably just don't think to look at animal control. :-( Tippie is very, very loving and will let you carry her around. I brought my dog Rusty to test with. She did not try to attack Rusty but was cautious of him. I think she would be fine with dogs in time, once she would know that the dogs don't hurt her. It's all just a trust issue."

If you are on Facebook check updates and see cats who need help. There are so many cats at the shelter. Many wonderful cats will have their lives ended. It seems unfair that these cats are killed for others actions or lack of them. Please spay and neuter and be responsible pet owners. And consider contacting Petra and or getting on Facebook to her link to help the cats.
