UPDATE10/02/11 WILL BE DEAD -Beautiful Cats (Calicoes, Black Cats, Tabbies)and Kittens at Kill Shelter are URGENT. EUTH ANYTIME WITHOUT HELP! Please.

"This little teeny bopper is Dipstick. Really, you don't know why??? Look at the tip of the tail!!! ;-) Please save this little one's life. He's so loving and full of energy. He would bring you bounds of happiness."

RIP Died from illnesss. Many shelters do not provide even pain meds. They say it is because they have no money. I say it is because they don't care. Is this legal? Is there a minimal standard of care and witholding pain meds or antibiotics is part of that minimal standard of care?

"This little Tortoiseshell baby already has an URI... If nobody claims her within the next few days, this baby will be killed..."

"The next three pics are of 2 sisters that were brought in "stray." We hardly think that these 2 beauties really were "stray... Their markings are almost the same but one is fluffier than the other. We will not make it a requirement that they must be adopted them together but we are hoping..."

DONATIONS ACCEPTED TO HELP VET COST.
From rescuer

"But I don't even have funds at the moment to get them vetted. I'm getting worried. "

If 20 people donated 5.00 these cats have a great chance to live. If 50 people donated 2.00 that would also work. In order to go into foster homes they need to be vetted. Read about this at the chipin link. Look at the kitties faces and tell them they will die because there was no money to help them.

This tiny medium-haired beauty was sitting in the far corner of the cage, scared... When I first touched her she was timid for a few seconds but quickly realized that I meant no harm and that's when the loving, purring and rubbing began. Here's your perfect LOVER! Don't let him die!

LOOK at that coat!!! Wow, right?! Yes, it's amazing and so is this precious kitty. Look at the loving you could get just by saving a life. Lazy girl right here. When I opened her cage she did not move. Just stretched her neck out to peer at the other cats around her. Her neck was the only thing moving, getting up wasn't an option

Sad to see so many kittens are homeless, More people should be made aware of pets adoption.

You are sooo right. Readers, please go to your local shelters and adopt or foster or volunteer to socialize and play with the animals. It will mean a lot to each cat and dog to get one on one attention. And for those who need more socialization it can be the difference between life and death.
