Not allowing the public to save the dogs and cats at Liberty Cty Animal Control is an ATROCITY. Concerned citizens want to save animals' lives, not kill them.

1. The Liberty County Government has blocked all public access to the Liberty County Animal Control Facility.
2. The Liberty County Government has significantly hindered the efforts of rescues and volunteers from saving the lives of the animals at the Liberty County Animal Control Facility.
3. By doing the above, the Liberty County Commissioners are MIS-APPROPRIATING YOUR TAX DOLLARS!
3. We beleive the above actions by the county government were taken in violation of the Georgia Open Meetings Act
4. We believe this is a violation of our Civil Rights under Title 42 U.S. Code, Chapter 12, Sub Chapter I, Section 1983
The people of Liberty County, Georgia, are tired of the conditions and regulations of their tax supported Animal Control Facility. They have concluded that the Liberty County government and administration are not concerned with those conditions, have purposely blocked off the public from viewing those conditions and are totally insensitive to the euthanasia of the animals at this taxpayer supported facility.

What YOU Can Do
In our August 11, 2010 meeting we took proactive steps in sending letters to our Govenor. A copy of each letter was also furnished to John McIver, Chairman of the Liberty County Board of Commissioners.
