These days many people are using mobile phones to checkout sites where they can find the animals that are in shelters and need help. This blog has not been optimized for mobile phones. I have no clue how to do that. Many old posts are unreadable according to Google.
I started this blog a long time ago. Now many rescues and organizations for animal welfare are on social media sites posting their animals and needs, looking for homes fosters, donations and transporters for their animals. Many rescues also have their own websites.
Some sites have fundraising events and even online auctions (Boston's Forgotten Felines is one)
I posted lots of shelters in the south.
Look for them on Social media like Facebook, Instagram. New Iberia Animal Shelter or Animal Control, New Iberia Louisiana was one shelter. Others Mason County Animal Shelter in West Virginia, Boston's Forgotten Felines another, no shelter need adopters and fosters. Maimi Dade Animal Control in Florida always has lots of animals in need. There are also opportunities to help animal through Go Fund Me.
There are many small shelters in great need in other states like Texas and California. Actually everywhere.
Please keep helping the cats and dogs and other animals. You can donate, foster, adopt, transport, help with websites and or fundraising, crosspost and contact your state and federal legislators encouraging them to support bills that help animals and wildlife.
