THIS SHELTER IN (UPPER)SANDUSKY, OHIO IS BARBARIC. THE DOGS ARE IN CAGES 24/7, DON'T EVEN GET OUTSIDE TO GO THE BATHROOM, AND ARE FORCED TO LAY IN THEIR OWN WASTE. MY GOD. CAN SOMEONE HELP SPOT?????

CRITICAL!!!

Wyandot County Dog Shelter
Upper Sandusky Ohio
PHONE 419-294-5408

Hours open to public M -F 8am - 10am after that by appointment only
Adoption fee is $6 CASH OR CHECK ONLY. License is $14

Spot, Beagle • Adult • Male

Petfinder: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/27500720/

Imagine spending day and night 24/7 in a cage. No exercise no walks, just sitting in a dark cage and waiting. Not sure what your fate will be. That is what Spot is living through right now. There is no exercise area, the dogs are in their cages literally 24 hours a day, and there are no volunteers at this pound. Because this pound is in such a rural community, the dogs here do not get any exposure or help.

Please share and help this baby get out of this place!! Transport help can sometimes be arranged.

Spot is a very friendly little guy and needs a home or rescue.

We often have little info on these pets. Unfortunately often the warden doesn't know much more since they are strays or left without any further info. The Dog Pounds # is 419-294-5408 This shelter has CAGES ONLY - no kennels or exercise areas. DOGS ARE CAGED 24/7. Please share these dogs. They get little exposure.

you may want to do a bit more research before you go trashing something - this is NOT in SANDUSKY OHIO. This is in UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio. THere's about an hour difference which could be a life or death thing in saving this dog's life. As far as I know Sandusky has a nice pound/humane society. But the one in WYANDOT COUNTY where this dog is located is a small rural shelter with no support from the commissioners.
So before you go trashing some place in SANDUSKY county - try google maps to make sure your information is correct..

but no matter I'll make sure I post the CORRECT info b/c I live in the county where this "GOD FORSAKEN" pound is

Hi Staci, Thanks for the clarification. If you notice the author of the post put upper Sandusky sometimes and sometimes not. I changed the heading. Thanks for posting these dogs so they get seen.

This is a crosspost. I didn't write it. I usually write it is a crosspost or put quotes around the post to let people know that I am crossposting the information. I didn't do either this time. I am going to correct that. I understand why you thought what you did. Sorry for not being clearer.
