1/14/10 The Humane Society of the United States: Email - Kentucky's Humane Lobby Day is Feb. 18, RSVP today!

Here's a reminder about the Humane Lobby Day in Frankfort on 2/18. See email below..........

Please use this site to RSVP to the event. It appears that they need a head count of supporters.

Pam Rogers, Kentucky State Director of the Humane Society of the U.S. will be there. As a matter of fact, she will have a meeting room reserved before the rally. I do not have info as to where the meeting room is...........when I get that info, I'll pass along in case you'd like to go there anytime after 10 am. I understand that the group of supporters will be provided with professionally printed signs to show support at the 1 pm meeting where the press will attned.

The show of support is at 1 pm in the Capitol Rotunda.

Sure hope you might be able to make it! We need to be a loud voice for the voiceless!

Thank You!

You're Invited to Lobby for Animals

Dear Nancy,
Think only professional lobbyists can lobby? Think again! Join The Humane Society of the United States for Humane Lobby Day Kentucky at the Kentucky Capitol Building in Frankfort Thursday, February 18, where you'll make a tremendous difference for animals.

This is one of the most important events all year -- and an exciting opportunity to meet directly with your elected officials or their staff about legislation that will impact animals.

Don't worry; we'll prep you beforehand with tips for lobbying and an overview of pending animal legislation.

RSVP today to lend your voice for animals and make a difference in Kentucky. Thanks for all you do for animals.
