October 11"This year we have lost that battle have euthanized cats this week." Humane Society KY. Heartbreaking Decisions Will Now Have To Be Made.

" We are a very small group that has worked every angle we know for the last few years to keep from euthanizing pets at our city's open admission shelter.
This year we have lost that battle and have euthanized cats this week.
We are starting to fill up on dogs as well with only three or four usable runs empty. Our next transport will not go out for two weeks and we will be beyond full by then.
We are in desperate need of help for long distance adoption home visits, crossposters, transport coordinators, private rescuers, other rescue volunteers and more.
Please join our group
http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/friendsofgraysoncohumanesoc/join
if you would like to help.
Two more cats will die tomorrow and more will lose their last hope soon unless we can add to what we already do.
Keep in mind we are a small group of five main volunteers who clean the shelter, care for the pets, post all the photos, drive all the transports, donate our own gas and use our own vehicles.
We need assistance in reaching more people. We do not have a local adoption pool. Our pets must get to a more densely populated area to have any chance of finding a home.

Please look at our listings and if you know of anyone looking to adopt, anyone who rescues or any shelter that accepts transfers, please give them our info.

We love our shelter pets and give honest information about each and every one.
