DOGS DIE FRIDAY 9AM ~ (before Friday if they are full)
~Last minute early pulls between 7-9am Friday only~ Last minute pulls between 7- 9am Friday - 9-3pm during the week (Now early pulls only on Fridays for rescue) - details at the bottom of this email)
More dogs will be dropped in the outside pens everynight (It's just getting worst with the economy etc) and put these and THOSE dogs in greater danger. {People drop/dump dogs on Thurs nights, and give the dog NO chance!}
There may be dogs already there that are not listed yet
(PLEASE GO TO THE POUND IF YOU ARE ABLE!) Local help desperately needed!
arrangements can be made to pick up dogs after hours** BUT NOT ON FRIDAYS
If you are interested in a dog please go there or make arrangements ASAP to get dogs out. (contact below)

All of the dogs down there are real sweethearts.
Pen #16 is scared to death there. She wouldn't even take a treat.
Pen #6's picture does him no justice. LOL...he is so sweet, cute and bouncy.
A resident is suppose to bring in their dog tomorrow.
1 stray in today, but he had tags and the owner was notified he was at
the pound. Bob will go to the owners house tomorrow and leave a note
for them if they don't come and pick him up. Tracy

Phoebe *URGENT*
This gal was originally rescued from a home where she was tied to a tree. Her owner then had developed severe allergies and had to find her a new home. She was found a home and now returned. Christy has had her this time for about a month now and really needs to find her a home ASAP before she is surrendered to the pound! She a year old and is fully house broken, and partially trained. She knows all the basic commands (sit, come, etc.) She is great with other animals. Christy has not come across an animal that Phoebe didn't like. She is also really good with kids. She has had all her shots and has been on heartworm prevention. She just got a clean bill of health from the vet. She will need spayed within a month after adoption. Charlie *URGENT*
Charlie will be 3yrs old September 31st and weighs 48#. He is an Akita/Wired Hair Terrier mix. His owner needs to find him a home ASAP because she is elderly and unable to care for him anymore. If he is not placed, he will have to be surrendered to the Carroll County dog pound. She has had him since he was a puppy and has been an outdoor dog since he was 3 months old. He does very well with other dogs and her cat. Has health records to accompany him to his new home, but he will need heartwormed checked and shots. Charlie is not neutered. He is a very sweet and friendly dog that gets alot of attention. He needs a fenced in yard and lots of attention. He is very smart and needs to be trained as an indoor dog with appropriate training.
