UPDATE: Commissioners are allowing rescue's in early from 7-9am on Friday's only. For Rescue the pound hours would be from 9am- 3pm M-T 7am-9am Friday's (before euth at 9am) Think we'll be saving more lives???? We need for this to be changed back to 7am -3pm pulls for rescue M-T

----------------------------------------------------------

Urgent Action Alert Carrollton OH: Emails, Calls, Faxes needed Commissioners not allowing rescues into the pound before 9am anymore

Contact the commissioners and let them know that rescues are the ones who save these dogs every week!

We need to be able to get in there before 9am to get these dogs where they need to go.

Apparently the pound is only open to county residents between 7-9am now!

The county residents are pretty good at surrendering their dogs but not adopting!

Rescues need to be able to get in there between 7-9am to save these dogs, this is crucial!

Contacts for the commissioners are below.

Please do not call the pound they do not have anything to do with it

All rescues should consider this as very unfriendly to rescues and a slap in the face and they should be outraged and show it by calling, emailing and faxing their remarks to the Carroll County Commissioners.

Not to the dog pound as the warden can do nothing. But to the people that made the ruling: Larry W. Garner, President Robert Herron, vice president and Thomas A. Wheaton commissioner. Now Larry Garner and Tom Wheaton are running for reelection. Bob Herron is not he is quitting.
