UPDATE MARCH 5 A special thanks to each of you for spreading the word about Buddy. A kind gentleman has stepped forward and as the attached smiling picture indicates....Buddy is on his way to a new trial home. Your willingness to forward or respond to our emails has also enabled another dog to go to a new foster home. For those of you who responded about possibly fostering or transporting to our adoption nights, I will write each of you individually. And thank you. On behalf of the Shamrock Foundation, our babies in need and myself, thank you all. It has been a dream and a prayer that no dog live indefinitely in a kenneled setting. I hope you'll continue to allow me to feature each of the dogs that have been sitting in a caged setting for far too long. Each day, waiting for a walk, a visit and or a forever home. Our "Kennels R No Place Like Home" will focus on dogs that are alive, but not thriving in a kenneled environment. We have the most awesome volunteers but short of cloning them, we sure could use more help. With the help of kind folks such as yourselves who willingly hit the forward button or take a moment to talk to a friend, family member or coworker, I believe that we can reach our goal. This in turn effects Shamrock's ability to continue to serve our community, rescuers, owners and pets in need, as we have for the past eighteen years. Formality aside....yes, today I did the "Happy Dance." Thanks all, Michelle The Shamrock Foundation http://www.shamrockpets.com/spc/ Posted: Mon Mar 02, 2009 1:58 pm Post subject: Louisville, KY - Buddy Going Back to the Kennel | |
