Many animals are barking, meowing, whining, pacing, panting, shaking, and hiding in their cages and are too scared to interact with potential adopters. This limits their chances of finding forever homes.
The Rescue Animal Mp3 Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to donate 30 hours of calming music on Mp3 players to animal shelters and rescue groups across the United States."
