"Crawled behind dumpster to die. 9 mth old Fox Terrier.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A week and a half ago a small white dog was pulled out from behind a dumpsite, in between garbage bags, screaming in pain, shivering and wet, terrified, but still wagging her tail at her rescuer. Thumper was brought to a local vets officer where the lady who picked her up was forced with the decision to euthanize her right then or pay for her expensive medical care. Thumper was minutes away for euthanasia, when Tiffany the receptionist at the vets office stepped in and said she would be willing to foster her for a week or two and call project paws to see if we could help. We at project paws are full of dogs and cats, running out of funds, running out of fosters, and ur spirits are being broken time and time again with the abuse we see daily, but look at this girl? She has such love in her eyes. Such spirit and the joy of life in her face... she wasn't willing to quit fighting for her life, and we couldn't either.

Thumper had a broken leg, serious dehydration, and was in shock from her injuries. What we can best tell is she was either thrown out of a moving car at the dumpsters, to she was already abandoned there and somone deliberately hit her. Either way, this loving, beautiful Fox Terrier was abandoned on a rainy day, injured by someone who just drove by, and left at a public place, with hundreds of people ignoring the little white dog screaming and crying for help in the corner.

Thumper has a story, like many others. Fortunately for her, she is alive. Unfortunatly, She has already had $500 of medical care done to her, and continues to need medical care. Thumper will need regular cast changes for the next 8-10 weeks, x-rays and a home or rescue who has the foster space and experience and dedication to do this.

Thumper is an amazing dog. She is staying at Tiffany, the vet receptionist's home right now. Though after the 27th Tiffany will no longer be able to foster her. Tiffany stepped up for project paws and saved this sweet, pleading dog. PRoject paws is begging for donations to help cover her medical care, and let us keep treating her. If we can raise enough donations to cover her medical care, i have had enough adoptions that i can take Thumper and continue her medical care. I know $ is hard to come by right now, but this life is worth every dollar you can spare.
Thumper needs a chance, a life, love, she didn't deserve to be left as dead trash. Look into her eyes and tell me what you see?

Loyalty, understanding, the need for acceptance, and forgiveness to the person who hurt her.
