"THIS SHELTER IS EUTHING DAILY! They are rescue friendly and transport to Hagerstown and Carlilse weekly. Connecting legs available further north.

The Humane Society of Parkersburg is in need of rescue assistance. Half of the adoptable animals that come into the shelter are euthanized because homes can't be found in time and they run out of space.

Transport available to the Northeast. Email us for more info.

Each dog is thoroughly tested and their temperament is detailed in their bio.

The shelter administers Parvo\Distemper and Bordatella vacs at intake and they worm with Pyrantel. There is no pull fee for pre-approved rescues. Additional Vetting is available at an additional discounted fee.
