This post is a bit confusing. I think the original one was made on June 26 and updates added as there are dates for adoption and rescue availibility into July. This pound is always full and animals are always urgent. It is a heartstick pound. Go save a life.

A Golden Retriever PURE? was added to the Mahoning
website yesterday. The dog is an adult female listed
as being available
for adoption/euthanasia NOW! Bio does not mention
that she is very
scared or is an owner turn in but it's
possible she is either or both.

the animals at Mahoning are urgent. However, when Mahoning designates
an animal as URGENT...he or she should be considered VERY URGENT!
This facility euthanizes via heartstick.

Sponsoring doesn't guarantee that an animal's life will be saved but it
certainly increases the chances that a rescue will take in the dog or
possibly buy the dog enough time to be adopted or claimed by owner.

SPONSOR A POUND DOG
Mahoning pull fees = $50
Mahonimg pull fee + spay/neuter = $130
A partial sponsorship is $80. This includes Spay/Neuter, Rabies, DHLPP
and Strongbid. The remaining expense for rescues is then the $50 pull fee.
A full sponsorship is $130. This includes the $50 pull fee in addition to
Spay/Neuter, Rabies, DHLPP and Strongbid. The remaining expense for
rescues is then $0.
If a dog that you sponsor becomes adopted or euthanized...the sponsor-
ship is then rolled over to a dog in greatest need. Sponsorships can be
made by individuals or organizations but can only be used by approved
rescues.
The dogs are Urgent and we assist anyone that needs it...rescues or
individuals. We do have an approval process for anyone we assist. We
have PayPal and will pay the pound.

PLEASE check the bios on the unsponsored dogs/puppies for availability
date. On that date they become available for both adoption & euthanasia.
