Dakota Does Not Have Much Time

"Please Crosspost:

Dakota is a pure, senior female husky, surrendered to the pound in Guernsey Co, OH. She will not have much time. See her info from the volunteers below. If you can help her, email me at jdmanfrin@hotmail.com

This is Dakota, she's an 11 year old PB Husky. She is spayed, HW negative and UTD on vaccinations. She was surrendered because she did not like her owners 2 year old grandchild. While the child was visiting for a few weeks Dakota grew less tolerant of the child. The first incident was when she snipped at him when he tried to lay on her. The second and last incident happened while she was tied out, she lunged at him. She was unable to reach the child because her owner happened to be standing on her lead. The owners were spooked by this and brought her to the pound. She seems very friendly and out going at the shelter. She just needs to go to to a home with no small children. She does not seem like an elderly dog, she was very well taken care of.

The warden is not giving her much time.
