November 22, 2008 Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen Needs Customers- Cash Strapped Georgia Pet Owners There is Help!



"Many pet owners facing tough times have been forced to give up their beloved animals because they can't afford to care for them. One Metro Atlanta non-profit group is offering a helping hand to those in need by giving a way free pet food."


"LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Tom Wargo is a man on a mission: to help people feed their pets.

That is one reason Wargo recently opened Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen, a food bank in Lawrenceville that offers free or low cost pet food. "We don't don't ask how much money people have. That's their personal story. It's personal to them. If they drive here to get food than they can get it here," he said.

Donations of pet food and supplies are also welcome. Wargo said he currently needs more cat food."
