URKY has to pay for the initial intake vetting of every animal that was pulled off the property on Sunday, even if they went to another group afterwards. We estimate that to be around $11,000. Every dog in foster care with URKY must also be spay/neutered and get continued vetting for their ongoing medical conditions during their foster time so we are estimating the total cost to be about $18,000-20,000.

These dogs have mange, eye conditions, respiratory conditions, etc. You can donate to our emergency vet fund by clicking by mailing a check to URKY, 1708 Houndstooth Glen, Lexington KY, 40515, or by using paypal through the above Chip-In here:

While I know that times are tight for everyone, each dollar counts. Please, if you have just $1 we can use it. If you can not financially help, please take a moment to share this information with your friends and family. Thanks you for your kindness and continued support for what we do to save more animals.

Take gentle care,
Jackie
