Julie is an owner surrender to a full shelter. Julie’s owner brought her to Animal Control because they had too many dogs and did not want to keep her anymore . This sweet girl is a recent mother but Julie’s owner stated that all of the puppies had died just recently. Julie is a very sweet little girl that is looking for a new home. Her owners report that she is housebroken, good cats and other dogs. Her owners also say that she does well with children. This little girl is breaking my heart. She was brought in by someone who callously let her litter of newborn pups die, then dumped her too--Julie is very thin, and absolutely full of milk (so that she's dripping milk on the kennel floor), and depressed for obvious reasons. She is also a very, very sweet, calm, gentle girl, completely non-reactive toward other dogs, and all she wanted from me was affection and some chewy treats. She laid her chin in the palm of my hand and leaned into me with total trust, closing her eyes and sighing. She just wants this nightmare to be over. Because she is a Pit Bull, it's all too likely to be over today or tomorrow at closing time--ending with her death on a stainless-steel table, because no one wants her, and the shelter is very much full past capacity. Please open your heart and your home or rescue to Julie, and give her the security and love she so deeply deserves. This is BREAKING my heart. I want to scoop her up and place her in a home full of warmth, security and LOVE. Is there any interest in her????. Robyn Re: 30909-Julie Urgent Case - Owner Surrender!
