"There must be someone out there who can help Gifford ! Gifford has had nothing but bad luck in finding a good forever home. He came from the New Haven Animal Shelter and just days before being euthanized he went to a foster home. The foster home could not keep him, so he went to another foster home and was then adopted to a forever (we thought) home. His person lost her home to foreclosure and now Gifford is homeless once again. Gifford needs a forever home, foster home or rescue to take him by April 14th or he will be euthanized because he has no where to go.

This dog needs HELP!
The latest update: Gifford was lucky enough that his former owner's sister offered to foster him, but only FOR TWO WEEKS. This sister never really liked him in the first place, so add that to everything that he's been through in the last year and a half, and we have a VERY stressed out Gifford who, after only a weekend, is already showing signs that the physical and mental damage is taking it's toll. When I saw him on Saturday, his coat was already dull & flaky, he had diarrhea, his ears were back in worry and he had that deep, helpless, lost look in his eyes....he barely wagged his tail. It was heartbreaking. He has had NO ONE willing to foster, NO potential adopters and NO rescues that have offered to take him in. Seeing the damage already, he will never make it in a kennel, so if no one steps up, it's looking worse & worse for this poor guy...He is out of options in two weeks.
Please, if you can't offer him a place to lay his head, please share his info and his petfinder page: http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/20882926
