Subject: Hinesville, GA - Liberty County Animal Control: Devastating News... We need help!

PLEASE SHARE!!!

Liberty County Animal Control is a rural, 18-kennel (outside) facility with a leaky tin roof, rusty chain links, puppy cages that are falling apart and poor cleaning practices... The fact that Hinesville is a military community ensures that the cages are always overflowing. Deployment times are specifically tragic but even on an every-day basis, dogs and cats are pouring in and mostly, it's plain to see that they have been family pets, not just your average strays.

Some time ago, we were very fortunate to make a wonderful LIFE-SAVING connection with Karen Talbot-Losasso who has been the angel for the dogs in the facility. She runs the M.O.M.S. Rescue in New Jersey and when she found out that we get little to no help in our area and how awful the conditions for the animals are, she pledged her allegiance to Carpathia Paws. What a GOD SENT! Karen has been making monthly trips from NJ to GA, taking countless dogs to safety. Almost all, spayed/neutered and all with health certificates. Unfortunately, some of them have been heart worm positive and some have other health problems that have just come to light. When Karen travels, she does it on her own dime. She has put tons of money into this, and only during the last transport was a chipin for some gas expenses created, which thankfully filled. This time, Karen has informed us with a heavy heart and many tears that she is not going to be able to plan a transport in November because the bills for the dogs needing treatment for heart worms and other health issues is up to $2000... She has to think about these dogs first, before running into even more debt.

Would you PLEASE help us raise the funds for this debt so that the life-saving transports to our facility can continue? We are begging... Karen is all we have. Outside of a few local adoptions and a local rescue pulling now and then, we have no one else. Please..."
