This little Tortie and his fellow little black friend (next pictures) are next on the list of kittens to be killed.

We hold these babies... We hear them purr... We feel them cuddle into our arms because someone is finally giving them some attention... We see the glimmer of hope in their eyes when we pick them up... We go back to the facility........... just to find they are no longer there... PLEASE, help me at least find safety and love for a few before it's too late. They are full and it's killing me knowing that I cannot help them without your assistance.
You are looking at a brand new mommy! Mitzi is a very pretty Tortoiseshell that just gave birth to 2 precious little babies and is a good mommy but she is also desperate to get out of the steel cage that is keeping her confined from compassion... She is very small, this could be her first litter. She still looks like a baby herself. She needs a foster now, as those babies will not survive in this environment..

Bella is a gorgeous Tortoiseshell with such a beautiful disposition. She is laid back and does not complain. She loves to be held and doted on and she is so sad looking because she has been overlooked for far too long and she seems to know that her time is coming to an end…

Everyone loves a tuxedo kitty. I hope this will be true for this baby because the facility is full and soon room will have to be made once again... She has some brown undertones in her coat that gives it a unique look. So wants to be loved, which is easy to see on her picture. Please help!

Here are 2 sisters that were brought in "stray." We hardly think that these 2 beauties really were "stray... Their markings are almost the same but one is fluffier than the other. We had an adoption event last week and the fluffier one of the two was adopted so now, only one sister (Sissy on the left in the pics) is left behind. Please help…

Midnight and her sister Inky are in as much danger as you can imagine... They are solid black, which is usually a death sentence for cats and dogs in shelters in itself but it's also October and there are some evil people out there who would just love to get their claws on some innocent little black kitties to use for dark practices. Hard to believe, but many of us know it's true. When I look at them, I see some beautiful little creatures with shiny coats, soulful eyes and so much love to give. They have been at Animal Control for several weeks (not sure how it's possible that they have not been PTS yet..) but they managed to survive without even getting the dreaded upper respiratory infection that inflicts so many shelter cats. They are full of energy, have great appetites and are so loving. They are females and are about 8 weeks old.

This drop-dead gorgeous little baby is sick with a URI. I spent a good amount of time cleaning this baby last night, putting eye salve on and feeding it wet Fancy Feast with Doxicycline in it to get the healing process started. If this baby goes to an adopter, he or she is going to be extremely lucky. This baby is not only beautiful but also one of the most cuddly kittens I have ever encountered. I once had a Blue Persian and that breed loves comfort and body contact - well, this baby is much the same. I believe it could be an Angora mix. The hair is fairly long and fluffy and the paws are big. I did not check for the gender.

I am not sure if these little ones are boys and girls because I was too busy cleaning those watery little eyes and picking the crusty goo off of the sweet little noses. Here we have an Orange Tabby with cream, about 8 weeks old and a precious Torby, about 8 weeks old. They are very scared in that cage and stay in the back corner - they possibly came in together. These are not feral kittens, as I handled them both, they are just scared and who wouldn’t be... Would be nice to see them leave this awful place alive...

Have a look at Rusty. He is s male, fluffy Keltic Shorthair with orange and white markings. Isn't he just sooo handsome?! Rusty is very much a people cat but is also curious about other cats. He loves to be held - see next picture - and is calm. His age is unknown but he appears to be a young adult. Would love to see him get saved...

Fritz is a gigantic Tom Cat. He must weigh at least 10 pounds. He is very quiet and though he really wants human contact, he is cautious at first. His head is much larger than my fist and his markings are so pretty. Being that he is a grey Tabby his chances are very, very slim... (please see next pic, too)

This little Tortie and his fellow little black friend (next pictures) are next on the list of kittens to be killed. Their only crime is that they have been there too long and nobody has wanted them... Very sad indeed. Reeses Pieces is so adorable. He has one tan mitten on his left paw, which definitely sticks out. He is sooooo starved for attention. Here is a tiny one who has not been allowed to live as a kitten should and he may never know...
******************************************************************
Magic and his buddy Reeses Pieces (above pictures) have been at AC the longest, which makes them next on the list for euthanasia... They have not committed any crimes but they still receive the death penalty... Magic is starved for attention just like his friend. They survived a month in that place because the lady that brought them in said she wants them back if nobody adopts them but when she was called she said she could not take them anymore. Not sure how she can live with herself because both of them are so sweet and cuddly. They just want to be kittens...

Marble is yet another pretty Tortoiseshell. She is super playful and is ready to jump right into your arms. If you show her attention she stretches toward you and is very curious as to how you might entertain her and what she can do to do the same for you.
******************************************************************
Here are 4 drop-dead gorgeous creme Tabbies. They are very scared and they are getting sick. They really need to get out of there quickly. I did not check the genders because I did not want to distress them even more...

Salem (previous picture) is a gorgeous steel grey beauty who is very, very stressed out at the moment. She found herself, and her newborn offspring (see next pictures) in a deadly situation and she knows it. She tries to hide in her litter box from the mean humans who she knows could take her life and that of her babies at any moment... Her babies lie nearby her in another box, squirming and crying... This is a dire situation. I hope someone can help...

Ariel is surely missed by someone... She is so attentive, so engaging, so pretty with her gorgeous fluffy black and white coat and that darling face. When she is held, she is completely content, does not try to fight to get out of your arms and she purrs purrs purrs. Someone must want this beautiful baby...

ALREADY NEUTERED!!! I was told to "proceed with caution" when opening this stunning boys cage. The kennel tech said he's very scared and might hiss or bite... Well, proceed with caution I did but it only took seconds to realize that this boy is NOT going to hurt anyone. In my mind, he is very much out of place here. I believe that he was a purely inside cat with a sheltered life and somehow has found himself at AC where the barking dogs, all the humans that come in and out, the loud noises and the scared meow from other cats have totally stressed him out. Once he felt comfortable with my touch, he arched for my hand, begged for more loving and very much came out of his shell. But his hair is falling out in bunches, another sign of stress... He is very large and is so handsome. Please someone make him feel safe again - be sure to look at all the pictures please.

This is a beautiful black mom that was caught at our local Food Lion. It is very obvious that she was dumped there with her baby (next pictures) because she is definitely a lover when held and given attention. She has a shiny coat and gorgeous eyes that speak a million words... I wonder if she realizes how much danger her and her baby are in?! Please, please help her...

Mohawk came to AC with his mommy (previous pictures) and has earned his name by the funny mohawk down his back (please look at all the pictures to see). He is solid grey with green-brown eyes and is cuddly, yet playful alike. He is probably about 8 weeks old and is super unique. I have never seen another kitten like him.
