"Annabelle
is such a sweetheart! She is a gentle, graceful and very beautiful American Pit
Bull Terrier and is six years old. Her beautiful chocolate brown coat has snow white markings. Annabelle is such a friendly and
good-natured dog who has great manners. She enjoys being close by your side on
daily walks and is housebroken. She loves to run and play in the shelter
yard and has so much fun with the toys, especially squeaky ones. Annabelle also
loves to splash around in the pool in the summertime. Annabelle is a bright dog who will sit on
command. Most of all, she enjoys quality cuddle time. Annabelle has such a
loving heart and will stand up for hugs. She gives kisses, too. Annabelle will
be such a devoted part of the family lucky enough to take her home! She
would do best as the only dog in the household.
Annabelle was adopted several months
ago. Her family decided they did not want her anymore and brought her back to
Animal Control. As you can imagine, she is anxious over being back at the
shelter again and seems so sad in her kennel. I saw her yesterday and once we
were outside, she became relaxed and was the happy-go-lucky, playful Annabelle
we all know and love.
Sadly, our Pit Bulls are constantly overlooked, even though we
know they are some of the very best dogs at the shelter!
