Nelson has since found a home but Nanna has not and then we noticed that she is pregnant on top of everything else. The facility is as overrun as it has ever been and Nanna will be the first to lose her life. We cannot even imagine how a dog with tiny babies in her stomach will be forced to sit in a trash bag pod on top of a freezer in a disgusting filthy room, held down to be injected with the death-liquid, watched until she slowly stops breathing – and the babies stop breathing… - and then be placed into the freezer until she is picked up by the dump truck and taken to the landfill. What did Nanna do to deserve this? What have her unborn babies done to deserve this? She is a beautiful dog with a wonderful disposition, adorable bat ears and such a nice color; yet, nobody has come forward to save the life of her and her babies.
