Alaqua Animal Refuge in Florida is helping the animal victims of Hurricane Michael. Read about their efforts on their website and on Facebook. What a difficult time for people and pets and all creatures that lived through the Hurricane.
 Can you imagine having to surrender a beloved pet who you may have had his or her whole life? Many owners are having to do this as they have no homes, no jobs, no savings or cash and an uncertain future. It is heartbreaking for both the animals and their people.
