Subject: Sweet GSD laying in pain at pound, hit by car on purpose...Columbus, Ohio
1 year old male GSD
Hit by car laying at pound
Someone witnessed a dog being
hit
Intentionally by a car.
They tried to catch it but could
not.
Unfortunately the Lawrence County Warden
did catch him.
He is laying in pain at the
pound.
It may be a minor fracture that require
crate rest.
But he is treated as all the other
animals (poorly)
And laying on a cement
floor.
We have someone who will pull him if a
rescue will take him
Or if we have a foster or forever home
for him.
He will be euthanized
soon………..

Cocoa is as
sweet and innocent as they come.She has trusting eyes.
She was
captured by a lady who was going to drown her
as she does
other stray animals, but a neighbor rescued Cocoa.
She is very
submissive with people and dogs, not a barker,
just sits and
looks at a dog who barks at her.
Squeak toys or
large items in your hand will frighten her.
Cocoa loves to
be with you. She will walk when you walk and sit when you sit!
If you run
your hands through the grass, she will gently grab your hand to play
...........she
is so precious!

had several surgeries, including an eye removal, leg amputation,

surgery to correct advanced patellar luxation.

have had 4 cases of heartworms, lots of mange,
