12/13/2011 2 Energetic Loving Dogs Will Be Euthanized Within the Next 2 Weeks If An Adopter or Rescue Does Not Come Forward to Take Them. " CT

Spike
Buddy
Such a heartbreaking look in his eyes. This is the season of love and light. Let's all extend our love to these innocent animals. Let Spike and Buddy's gift be a home or rescue not a lethal injection. This shelter needs to be commended for keeping these dogs alive since May. Don't make them do what they don't want to.

"There are two dogs at the Derby Animal Shelter that have been there since May. Spike and Buddy need to be out of there NOW !
The shelter has advertised locally and through petfinder but have not been able to place them. They will be euthanized within the next 2 weeks if an adopter or rescue does not come forward to take them.
Please contact Animal Control Officer, Joe Klapchik @ 203-736-1467 for further information.
Buddy is a brown and white handsome fella. He loves people. Because he is a big boy he should be in a home with children over the age of 16 years. Buddy is housetrained. He prefers to be the only pet.
Spike is a an energetic brindle gorgeous fella. He is housetrained. Because Spike is an energetic and playful guy it is recommended that he be in a home with no children. Spike preferes to be the only pet.
There isn't a whole lot of information on these two dogs . Please call ACO Joe to get more information . Make an appointment to evaluate them and save their lives. Give them a chance !
If I can get better pictures I will resend this and attach them. But this is all the information I have right now.
Please crosspost.
Thanks,
Delette Corwel
