The primary goal of Canine Crusaders is rescuing dogs out of the Mahoning County Pound, Ohio. Foster homes can be as much as 180 miles away. They are located directly between Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. "We are in DESPERATE need of SHORT-TERM FOSTERS for dogs awaiting transport to rescues. Foster time for dogs going to rescue is generally only 1 to 3 weeks. Foster time for dogs waiting to find their forever home may take a little longer. Foster homes provide temporary shelter, food and love." Canine Crusaders provides necessary vetting. The cost of food and toys is up to the foster. Prerequisites such as fenced yard, experience, etc., may depend on the type of dog to be fostered.
