FINAL PLEA FOR DAISY, WE HAVE NO MORE ROOM AND ITS ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE!! PLEASE HELP!!!!
Daisy came to the shelter when she was a young puppy. She was a little timid but we felt like with the right family she would warm up quickly. We had her spayed and placed her for adoption. Fast forward 2 years later, she's back with us. We had to hold her for a 10 day rabies observation because she wasn't current on her rabies vaccine and she nipped the owners 10 year old. Barely broke the skin but still requires a hold. Daisy has been fine with us but she lacks confidence. Typically has her tail tucked and crawls over slowly to you. She has not shown any aggression to us but her owner said she sometimes gets a little nippy. I feel with patience and positive reinforcement Daisy would be a more confident dog. Can you find a place for Daisy in your rescue. Of course with a "nip" history we would recommend a home with no small children until she can be properly addressed. Please let me know if you can help as Daisy's time is up here.
