Subject: Fwd: Hickory, NC: BLUE DOBERMAN IN NEED - DAD DIED AND NOW LOSING HOME
from owner from e-mail
"I have lost my husband two years ago and now I am having to sell my home and have nowhere to take my beloved dog with me. I never wanted this but as much of life I have had to endure great loss and I have had to make decisions beyond my control.
So my beautiful blue Doberman, her name is Sapphire is 8 years old this January. She is fixed and had all of her shots just requires rabies vaccine this year. Sapphire has been trained Dogs by Andy and remembers her commands. She is very smart, very prey driven as well.
Here are the only things I see which has made it hard for me to find her a home. Sapphire loves men mainly because of my late husband, she has had to endure loss as well. Right now she is suffering with separation anxiety because I’m in out of the house a lot due to selling it. She has become temperamental which only came after she was fixed. She does not like younger kids, she has been ok with cats if they leave her alone as well as other dogs."
I know this seems like a long shot but I really do not want to take her to a pound she deserves better than that. My only concern is that she really needs someone with no kids or animals she just needs love and attention. I am now under contract with my home and supposed to close February 27, 2020 so I have until middle of February to find a home or rescue for her.
She does have a knot come up on her side and I am struggling to make everything meet and have not had a chance to take her to vet. Does not seem to bother her. I will take more pics tonight and next couple of days. I know this is a long shot but I am hoping you can help me."

1/26/20 " DOGS STILL STARVING AND DYING IN HORRIFIC AGADIR MOROCCAN POUND – HELP STOP THE CRUELTY" What Government Would Intentionally Starve Shelter Animals as a Way to Stop Pet Overpopulation and the Problems Associated With It? Heartbreaking Cruelty. Post this on Morroco Tourist Faceboook Page. Who Rounds Up the Dogs? The Sanitation Department. Read Article.
"Recently, Lady Freethinker reported about the atrocities occurring in Agadir, Morocco, where street dogs are being rounded up by sanitation officials and thrown into pounds without access to food or water. Out of desperation, the imprisoned dogs resort to eating one another to stay alive.

Just when you think you've heard about the worst things humanity does to other people, animals, and the environment you read about Morroco. Unimaginable cruelty against helpless animals. And whose fault is pet over population. PEOPLE'S.
Ignorance and lack of funds is no reason to starve animals. People all over the world are willing to help these animals. Please let them.
It seems this is happening in many areas in Morroco. There
are Animal Organizations in Morroco aware of the stray street dogs and cruel shelter practices whether in this one shelter or in others.
Please support them if you can.

Unfortunately, the horrible situation these dogs face is not getting better.
Video footage, filmed by animal welfare activists Lucy Austin and Fanny Belle, shows visibly malnourished dogs ripping apart the corpses of their starved-to-death counterparts.
Additional footage, published by Morocco Animal Aid (MAA), reveals injured, famished dogs with bones almost protruding from their skin after being denied life’s basic necessities."

1/23/20 [CanineRescue] Lawrenceville GA --URGENT FIVE SENIOR DOGS--Left from a 60+ neglect situation!!
From e-mail
"Good afternoon rescue partners,
I need your help finding placement for 5 very special dogs here at the shelter. These 5 pups are the last dogs from a potential neglect case, involving over 60 canines.
Most of these pups were outside in chain-link pens, and the small ones were inside in wire kennels, in very poor conditions. All of these pups have special medical/behavioral situations that I would love to talk with you about, if you think they might be a good fit for your program.
These dogs were let down once before, and we want to make sure we set them up for success in the twilight of their life.
If you will consider them, please reach out to me to start that conversation at: 678-245-2447, or by email at: AnimalRescue@gwinnettcounty.com."
"All of these canines are located at the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter. 884 Winder Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA 30045.
Best Regards,
