Having funds or pledges for treatment HELPS find a rescue.
New arrivals at Aiken County Animal Shelter, Aiken, SC ... dumped, tested HW positive, can only be pulled by a rescue.Their ONLY WAY OUT is if a 501c3 rescue pulls them. This is an open admission county shelter and it is always extremely overcrowded. These dogs MUST get OUT immediately!
The HeartBeat Program tries to find rescues and help raise funds for treatment, which will go to the veterinarian who provides treatment or boarding kennel during treatment. PLEASE HELP, dont let these dogs down...DONATE to this fundraiser, share the story, help us find a rescue. Note: We can arrange HW treatment and boarding in Chesterfield SC for rescues who do not have treatment facilities in place. If funds are raised beyond the need of that dog or if, sadly, the dog is euthanized because we cant find a rescue, the funds go to the next dog in need. 100% of funds raised go to the dogs.
The HeartBeat program is a program of Palmetto Animal Welfare Services (PAWS) PO Box 392 Aiken SCMary Lou Seymour, HeartBeat Campaign co-ordinator
