" All of these animals were euthed. Please read the post on Facebook and see their faces
💔 All of these pups died today at the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services shelter. 🌈 Please go to SAPA Urgents & Adoptables to help them out. 🥺"
"All 8 of these dogs died today 💔
If anyone wants to pledge towards boarding (usually $119 a week) we can save someone tomorrow. There will be another list and more will die with no plan. Boarding is not ideal, but it keeps them alive until a foster is found."

"The Waggle Foundation seeks to ensure that the lives of pets are not cut short because a pet guardian is without the necessary funds to cover the cost of medical treatment, and works in partnership with the general public, media, influencers and brands to raise critical funding and awareness.
Our mission is to eradicate the economic euthanasia of pets who might otherwise live out their natural lives, sharing cherished time with their beloved families. "

"Tuesday is Giving Tuesday, and we are asking all of our LINK friends and supporters to set up Giving Tuesday fundraisers, to help us raise money. We are trying to help as many IPAC dogs as we can in December/January. But it costs us 500 to 600 per dog for vetting and HW treatment, and we cannot continue to do without funds. Please consider either a donation to LINKS Giving Tuesday fundraiser, or setting up a Giving Tuesday fundraiser with LINK as your designated charity!

Shelters, fosters, rescues, transporters deserve our utmost respect and support. They do what former owners could not do or decided not to do for a variety of reasons: give care and love and safety to an animal and the opportunity for a new life. These people are doing a job for all of us. They have to constantly ask for help. The animals depend on them. Without them there would be even more homeless stray animals wandering the streets suffering and dying. Without them there would be no chance for these dogs and cats. Without them where would the dog or cat go when it was no longer wanted or when there was no money to feed the animal or provide medical care? Please be generous this holiday season with a donation or your time and volunteer.

I found a plea for this little girl on Facebook before she had her puppies and it's just been killing me to know about her and not be able to help her.
She is just a little thing and so adorable. They were trying to get her out of there before having her puppies but she had them bright and early this morning - 8 of them. She's a very good little mommy, trying to hide all of her offspring, knowing they are in so much danger. Can you imagine!!!??? Please, if anyone can help her, don't hesitate to call there. Time is of the essence..."

Sam was a friendly 6 month old puppy. Reason for euthanasia: Behavior, not aggressive behavior that you and I might think would make a dog unadoptable, but rather because 6-month-old puppy Sam was getting "depressed" in the shelter environment. Sasha was surrendered to the shelter as a healthy 1.5 year old when her owners moved to an apartment that did not allow dogs. Like many dogs, within days of arriving at the shelter Sasha developed a runny nose and cough, common signs of an upper respiratory infection that makes so many shelter dogs sick. Reason for Sasha's death: Medical.
