3/10/18 Citrus Cty Animal Services, Florida Euthanizes Wonderful Dogs for Space
It is a sad day when an animal has to be humanely euthanized due to illness or injury. Many dogs and cats are euthanized for no reason other than the shelter has a limit to the time they can spend there. This is not okay. It is never okay to kill an animal due to space. But the understaffed and underfunded shelters feel they have no choice.
The good news is there are rescues and people working tirelessly to promote spay and neuter and responsible pet ownership. And people fostering, sponsoring, adopting and flying pets from high kill shelters to parts of the country where the animals have a better chance to get adopted
Please help in anyway you can at this particular shelter or any shelters nearby. Look at the faces of these innocents who want your love.
