The phrase high kill is horrific. But it is real. We as a society MUST CHANGE if we are to survive. Let this change start with one act of loving kindness daily. How about going to a high kill shelter and saving a life, allowing a dog or cat to feel the joys of a loving safe home where people know what caring is. Animals have a lot to teach us.
