"The Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society is a small group of volunteers who banded together in 2011 and became dedicated to helping the homeless animals at the Vance County Animal Shelter find the loving homes that they deserve. He has unfortunately been overlooked since day one and continues to be passed by time and time again. He REALLY needs you guys to rally behind him and do whatever it takes to get him noticed. Chester is kind of quiet and reserved in his kennel, but when you get him out, he instantly lights up and his true personality shines through! He is a funny, silly guy who loves to play with toys and is very attentive to treats. Sometimes he concentrates so hard on a treat that his forehead gets all wrinkledup and his lip gets stuck. It is hard to describe, but adorable to see! Chester is still quite young at only about two years old, so he can certainly be energetic and playful. Regular exercise and engaging activities would be great for this guy! This handsome boy has gorgeous colored eyes, weighs about 55 pounds, and is already neutered. He can be a little insecure around other dogs, but seems to do better with females than males.
