5/31/13 BLACKWOOD NJ "ELIZABETH" Caged for2 months now! Shelter is packed! Elizabeth came to us as a stray 3/28 I have never seen a dog with sadder eyes. She normally spends her days just laying on the concrete with her head down as if she knows no one is coming to visit her. She is spayed, all shots, hw tested, and chipped 3 yrs old 62 lbs. Passed her evaluation and food test! So sweet and loves being with you. Walks good on leash and is fine with other dogs. She is a volunteer favorite and goes on pack walks and adoption events"

These 2 lil' English Cockers were found circling on the highway Wednesday. After their 5 day waiting period is over on Monday, they can be rescued. They are fully vetted (except not yet altered nor tested, we do those at the same time) and started on ear meds and antibiotics...their ears were horrible and the vet thinks Clover may have a UTI also. They will need dental work, too. We have a volunteer who donates grooming for PAWS rescued dogs so will be getting that done next week. Vet says they may be between 3 - 5 years old. We are on our knees begging for help. The Vance
shelter is well beyond
its *maximum
capacity* with both dogs & cats/kittens
. We must find rescue for them or
they will be killed as many continue to come
in daily, and with the shelter
already being over capacity, it is an extremel
y urgent situation. Are you
able to save some this weekend?
Our transport will leave Friday night at
10pm from NC heading up I-95 arriving in NJ
Saturday morning the 4th.
