My name is Jane and I work at the Okefenokee Humane Society in Waycross, GA. We are required to downsize by HALF in order to accomodate government run animal control, which will be beginning in mid-July. We've been given an extension on our deadline due to the July 4th holiday weekend, so we'll have these guys for one more week. I've sent pleas to hundreds of rescues , but only 3 dogs and no cats have been saved. Plus, more animals have come in since the initial pleas went out. Due to the urgency of our situation, we are not charging a rescue pull fee.
