Great NEWS for Licking cats: April 17th, 2009

Cats that are now being brought into the Licking Co. Animal Shelter are triaged and the ones that appear healthy and tame are vaccinated with Eclipse 3. The date of the vaccination is being recorded on their collar and they are placed in pen room that is isolated from other cats that are ill or are suspected of being ill. Where appropriate, these other cats are being treated with antibiotics under the direction of a veterinarian. This veterinarian has been coming into the shelter on a weekly basis & performing a wellness check.
