From: Portage County Dog Warden Shelter This great 1 year old dog has been in the pound the longest of any dog there. His problem is that he barks & jumps in his kennel at anyone who comes near him. He absolutely hates being kenneled. Once he's out of the kennel, he calms right down & once outside to play, the first thing he does is pick up a tennis ball. He teases with the ball, running up & will pretend to give it up, then he takes off laughing. This goes on for a few minutes, then he'll drop the ball & tear after it once it's thrown, over & over. He's good with adults & seems to be good with other dogs. He's VERY house trained, another reason he hates being cooped up all day & night. Please give this great dog a home with an active family that he deserves. Shots will be given at adoption & PLEASE purchase a low cost neuter certificate.
