OTIS Meet Otis...he is an older beagle who came in as a stray on 4/23/10. He is so sweet and so deserving of a chance....please help him. SHADOW Meet Shadow...he is 11 years old was surrendered with his buddy, Son. He used to live in the country but had to move to town and now his barking has become an issue and he was surrendered to the pound. He is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. REX Meet Rex...he is an owner surrender. The owner was moving to an apartment and couldn't take him along. Rex is 8 yrs old, and he is housetrained and good with kids, cats, and other dogs. MAX Meet Max, he is an owner surrender. The poor guy is 9 1/2 yrs old and he is fixed and housetrained. He was banished from the house because the owners got new floors and Max was scared to walk on them and then he was banished from the backyard because the owners want the whole backyard for the grandchildren to play in. So, Max is out of luck and sitting at the dog pound. How unfair for poor Max! Max is house trained and spayed/neutered ABBY Meet Abby...she came in as a stray on 5/17/10. She is quite old and the person who found her wandering said that Abby couldn't climb stairs. Abby has a very gentle disposition and she doesn't deserve to find herself in a place like this. What is with people who think they can dump their dogs at this stage of their life? Please help Abby... KIRBY Meet Kirby...she is an owner surrender because her owner was moving to an apartment. Kirby is 8 yrs old and she is housetrained and good with kids and other dogs but not so good with cats. Take a look at her face and please do what you can to help her. She is so so sweet and it is heartbreaking that she is here at the pound at this point in her life. Please help her....UPDATE: We are thinking Kirby may be older than 8 years old...it is hard to say and we have found that Kirby does not like dogs in her face. She is old and feels like she has earned her right to some peace and quiet. **Also, the vet thinks Kirby could possible have Cushings Disease, so we are making a vet appointment for further testing.
